Yanabia
Identity Design
Yanabia is a non-for-profit organization that operates in the geographic and social periphery of the Negev in Israel, with the vision to generate sustainable change within the Bedouin community and improve its quality of life by pooling governmental, municipal and philanthropic resources.
Our challenge was not only to develop a brand identity for Yanabia and convey the many different areas it promises to support, but also to include all three languages: Hebrew, Arabic and English - which was significant to our client.
The core concept was to create a logo that looks formal enough to reflect the financial and institutional aspect of the fund, together with the fluid, upwards transition of the Bedouin community. Based on a financial graph, the logo was also designed to covey a signature on an agreement, the Negev mountains and the Bedouin tent, styled as an Arabic calligraphy.
