Poster Design

For the 81st Hahnenkamm Race design competition I created a poster with the concept of excitement in mind, of being elated, both mentally and physically, to take part in this international sport festival. That is visually reflected by the skier, who is captured mid-air, frozen in time, yet full of movement, energy and power.

The horizon, represented by the abstract landscape of the Hehnenkamm mountains, is deliberately vertical, keeping the viewer gasping in awe, wondering what is the true direction of the image. Many lines in the artwork are continuous, moving from one part to the next, just like the slopes of the race.
